Impact Hub supports the development of social entrepreneurship ecosystems all across the globe. As part of this work, we had the pleasure to collaborate with changemakers, entrepreneurial support organizations and other stakeholders to map the ecosystem in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Over 2022, we held interviews with key stakeholders, conducted ecosystem visits and offered different opportunities for the local ecosystem to engage and collaborate with us.

More about the program

 

The program ran from May to November 2022. With you together, we build a functional ecosystem map that helps anyone navigate the existing stakeholders and key actors, the interactions within the ecosystem and neighboring ecosystems and anchor institutions.

Beyond this work we aim to identify the current state of the social entrepreneurship ecosystem and we will collaboratively map the landscape, its gaps and opportunities and draw recommendations for the development of a more inclusive, sustainable and collaborative impact ecosystem.

This ecosystem report was developed to provide insights into the current state of the social entrepreneurship ecosystem in Baku, Azerbaijan. It was developed over nine months, which included a visit to Baku from an Impact Hub delegation to gain first-hand insights into the social entrepreneurship ecosystem.
