Vienna, 10 November 2021 – As the Impact Hub Network continues to accelerate the transition to a more just and sustainable future, we are excited to announce an update on our leadership team.
Tatiana Glad will step into the role of Global Executive Director, taking over from Gabriela Gandel. Tatiana will build upon Gabriela’s fantastic work from the past decade and help us achieve our 2030 ambition of creating an impact movement at scale. Gabriela will continue to support our Ambition 2030 as a Board Director focusing on developing partnerships and engaging in policy efforts.
Tatiana Glad, current Co-Founder and Director of Impact Hub Amsterdam (since 2008), brings diverse experience to our global leadership team. In addition to her roles within the network, which range from serving on the Impact Hub Association Board to co-designing the first SEED programs in Africa and Latin America, Tatiana is the co-founder of social enterprise Waterlution, appointed expert to the City of Amsterdam’s Impact Entrepreneurship program and on the Sustainability Board of the University of Amsterdam. Tatiana holds an MSc in sustainable business practice.

In her 10+ years co-leading the network and as Executive Director since 2017, Gabriela Gandel has led Impact Hub to be present in 60+ countries, empowering 24.000+ impact-entrepreneurs and innovators to build better businesses. Gabriela will continue to support the network as she transitions into a director role focused on partnerships and policy on the Impact Hub Association Board.
Gabriela comments, “It has been a unique leadership adventure to initiate and build the Impact Hub Network alongside inspiring entrepreneurs from over 60 countries and a fantastic global team. It is an honour to now support Tatiana, a key leader from within our network, in taking our community to Ambition 2030. At the same time, I plan to continue enabling our impact through large scale partnerships and policy efforts in my Board role.”
Tatiana steps into the Executive Director role full-time starting January 2022. Gabriela will be onboarded as part of our Global Board of Directors in 2022.
