Spirits Society, Hub Oakland, meets on the 3rd Thirsty Thursday of every month.

Our goal is to educate members on sustainable spirits options and to use the symbol for “water of life” to engage in discussions on all types of related subjects.

Aqua Vitae, alchemically symbolized by the two triangles in our logo, connects all human life. Understanding its history, evolution, and present day manifestations enables a person to make better decisions for themselves and the environment on a myriad of different levels. Make friends with bartenders and learn how to be a better customer, and learn techniques for acquiring, manipulating, and serving beverages (alcoholic and non).
