Maria is originally from Brazil but spent the last 12 years between Brazil and England (London). She joined the Impact Hub Network as Impact Hub King’s Cross- London Managing Director in 2012. Before joining the Impact Hub network, Maria worked supporting the development of an entrepreneurial ecosystem for the people on the base of the pyramid in Brazil, working with microfinance and business education. Maria background is in business management. She has a degree in Business Administration and MSc in International Management from King's College in London. Maria undertook a field research in Bangladesh, about challenges that social enterprises face in reconciling profitability and social impact as part of her MSc programme. Maria believes that we can build a more fair and just society that works for all and that is why she joined the Impact Hub global movement. *Maria is based in London, UK
