Pillar 2: Inclusive Entrepreneurship

The Inclusive Entrepreneurship Pillar, with 5 thematic focus sessions (one per each vulnerability group) and 1 session on barriers for inclusion delivered in 2022. – check the full description of each training modules to know more.

Module 1: Introduction to Inclusive Entrepreneurship

AIM
We start the workshop series with an exploration of common cultural and structural barriers facing groups underrepresented in the enterprise sector, taking a more intersectional perspective before moving on to deep dives on specific groups, offering inspiration and guidance based on actions and methodologies already successfully implemented on the ground across Europe, to support implementation of inclusive practice.

ABOUT
Join a panel of impact sector leaders to explore cross-cutting barriers to underrepresented groups in the enterprise sector, and participate in a discussion about what has been and can be done to change things for the better and to create a just and inclusive economy. You will also connect with and learn from peers from other business support organisations.

Module 2: Migrants and Refugees

AIM
This workshop will focus on a specific underrepresented group – Migrants & refugees. It create a safe and supportive space to offer inspiration and guidance for business support organisations, based on actions and methodologies already successfully implemented on the ground across Europe, to support implementation of inclusive practice.

The session will present :
– Learnings from our Community of Practice: Sharing research on barriers & solutions, best practices & co-designed approaches
– Entrepreneur & Practitioner Panel: Exploring the experiences & challenges of migrant entrepreneurs & BSO responses
– Spotlight: Considerations for working with Ukrainian refugees, with examples of practical innovations & responses
– Reflection & application: Throughout, we will identify implications for your own incubation services & support programs
